Source: Alton

Notes: I use this primarily for the banana muffin recipe but its good to know overall

Serves: 12 Muffins

Ingredients: <the ingredients provided generally in the order they are used, including any prep>
  • 9 ounces flour
  • 1 Tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 stick butter melted and cooled
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 2 Eggs
Program: <list of steps>
  1. Prep a standard 12 cup muffin pan
  2. Preheat oven to 375
  3. Mix the dry goods together
  4. Mix the wet goods together

  5. Add wet mixture to dry mixture. Mix til just combined.
  6. Put into tin until each cup equally filled
  7. Place in oven for 18-22 minutes until the muffin is at about 210 degrees, rotating the pan if necessary depending on your oven
  8. After you take out, pop muffins out of tin so that the bottoms can get air circulated around them
Variations:
  • Note: Depending on what else you put in, you'll either mix it into the wet goods before you perform you combine. Other items that will all sink to the bottom (like chocolate chips or blueberries), you'll want to add it to the batter either right before or right after you put it in the pan. Play around with it.
